Step 7 of migrating from TWICE 1.0. Everything here depends on suppliers, DNS propagation, or someone else’s system. Start it early — none of it is difficult, and all of it is slow.

Labels and barcodes

If stock codes changed during the migration, reprint barcode and QR labels. A default migration should match 1.0 exactly, so check before you reprint anything. Set your store address under Settings → Domains — the TWICE subdomain, or your own custom domain, and which one is primary for search engines.
1.0 links do not redirect. Old product and order URLs break at the switch. List every link you control and update it before you switch: your own website, business and directory listings, social profiles, email signatures, paid ads, and QR codes on printed material and signage.
Assign each place your old links appear to a named person. This is the item most often discovered after the switch, by a customer.

Integrations

Anything connected to 1.0 needs a new API key from Settings → Integrations & API and repointing to the 2.0 endpoint. Webhooks are configured in the same view. Test each integration against 2.0 before you switch, not on the day.

Exports from 1.0

Export and store outside TWICE, before access ends:
  • Finance and accounting reports
  • Your customer list
  • Completed order history
  • Any documents or signed waivers you are required to retain
Confirm with your accountant what must be kept and for how long. That answer is a legal one, not a TWICE one.

Done when

  • Labels are reprinted, or confirmed unnecessary.
  • Your store address is set and any custom domain is verified.
  • Every place your old links appear is listed and assigned to someone.
  • Every integration has a 2.0 key and has been tested against 2.0.
  • 1.0 exports are downloaded and stored outside TWICE.
