The Default Content tab has been removed from the Online Store settings. Storefront content — headers, footers, cart labels, collection and listing page text, checkout copy, and other shared elements — is now managed as translation string overrides on the Translations settings page.

What changed

The dedicated Default Content editor has been replaced by the Translations system. All storefront text — hero sections, banners, navigation labels, and page-specific copy — is now stored as translatable strings under the storefront namespace. This means you:
  • Edit storefront content from Settings > Translations alongside all other customer-facing text
  • Get multi-language support for every content block automatically
  • Use the same side-by-side editor and bulk import/export workflow as other translations
