It's been some time since the last product update here in our blog. As we head into the last quarter of the year, we thought it would be a good time to give you a little update on what's been happening with our product.

New pricing plans

We are excited to announce that we have entirely redesigned our pricing plans to cater to the evolving needs of our growing customer base. Take a moment to explore the new plans and discover the exciting additional features that await you at Rest assured, our existing customers will continue to enjoy their current plans, with the option to upgrade to a new plan if they wish.

Our new plans offer an array of impressive features previously only available in the higher-priced tiers. Now, many of these features are included in the Free or more affordable plans. For example, with the free version, you can customize your online store, and the entry-level Discover plan (starting from $29.00/month) enables you to serve in-store customers using Twice. We are also delighted to introduce annual plans, where a commitment of 12 months rewards you with three months free.

Pick-up points

Custom text and image options available at checkout

We are thrilled to introduce an exciting new feature in Twice Checkout. Now, you can enhance the checkout experience by incorporating custom text and image sections. Whether you want to gather additional information from your customers or provide detailed instructions for filling out custom checkout fields, this new functionality has you covered.

Accessing these settings is a breeze – navigate to Twice Admin and go to Settings > Online Store > Themes.

Booking link expiration

Now, you can set a time limit for unconfirmed orders when sending out booking links. Once this period expires, both the orders and links will be automatically canceled. This feature is designed to prevent no-shows and optimize your inventory utilization.

Payment links

We are thrilled to announce a new feature in Twice Admin that allows you to send payment links to your customers directly.

From the order creation view, you now have the option to send the pre-defined order as either an email or SMS link, and you can even customize the available payment methods for your customers. This update enhances the Booking Link functionality significantly. It streamlines the payment process for you and your customers, making it even easier for them to complete their orders and make payments.

Open-ended subscriptions

Our latest update introduces a seamless solution for maintaining customer subscriptions without the hassle of manual renewals. With open-ended subscriptions, you can determine whether a subscription will automatically renew once the initial commitment period is over. This feature ensures a hassle-free experience for both you and your customers and is a proven way to increase customer retention.

New SKU page

Clicking on a single SKU in the Stock Keeping Units table takes you to a dedicated page designed explicitly for that SKU. This new feature provides a comprehensive overview of the SKU, including all its details. Moreover, we have also added the capability to edit SKU details directly from this page, making it even more convenient for you to manage and update your inventory efficiently.

New API fields

New Orders API fields

  • Order API now returns the details of all the persons belonging to an order as part of the Order object.

  • Order API now also returns Skidata plugin-related data, such as the confirmation number of the Skidata order. Skidata data can be accessed under metafields.skiData in the Order object.

Custom checkout fields available in the API

Custom checkout fields are now available in the Orders resource of the Admin API.

Booking link improvements

We have added support for pay in-store and other manual payment methods to booking links, even if they are disabled under Account > Payments. We updated the default payment options to include all your chosen payment options to allow customers to select their preferred payment method.

Booking links now show the deposit information more clearly according to the selected payment method.

Select the language for order confirmation emails

You can now select in which language you send the order confirmation emails when creating a new order. This addition allows you to communicate with your customers in their preferred language.

Improved SEO performance

We've improved how the site titles are defined in the online store with multiple locations. Furthermore, we've tweaked the title of the browse-view to reflect the selected category to improve SEO performance.

Admin improvements

The administration side has received an updated layout. We have introduced a collapsible sidebar to enhance navigation within the product. Additionally, we have improved the save actions in the administration area, introducing a captivating save banner that creates a more unified and user-friendly experience.

We have enhanced the navigation between products and inventory, making it even easier for you to move seamlessly from the product availability page to your inventory. Additionally, you can now effortlessly navigate from the SKU page to a single article page and vice versa, as well as from the articles page to an SKU page.

To provide further assistance, we have also included a helpful tooltip to clarify the concept of "Specification" in inventory.

We have improved search filters across different Twice views so that the applied filters will stay active even if you navigate to another page in between.

Inventory improvements

This update brings multiple significant improvements to the Inventory section.

Bulk actions: Are you tired of editing your articles one by one? We knew you were, so we added some convenient bulk actions for everyday use cases. Now, you can select the articles you want to edit and change the status, allocation, or store location for all of them with one click.

SKU page: We added a convenient shortcut to the SKU page, where you can quickly add more Articles for that SKU.

Performance improvements: Inventory-related actions should now be snappier and more responsive across the board — especially when working with large inventory sizes.
