Read your agreement and write down the counts it names: locations, users, and every other allowance on it. Do this in step 1 of the launch path, Before you start, because the number of locations you are entitled to shapes how you set the account up. The admin does not show these figures today. Ask your TWICE contact for them, and keep them where whoever adds a location can read them.

What counts as a location

Count one location for every place you operate from. A location is somewhere stock sits or an order is handed over, and it is the unit your agreement counts. Create each one under Settings → Locations. Read Set up your business, locations and taxes for what every tab on a location does.

What your tier covers, and what locations add

Check the tier written on your agreement rather than the one you remember signing for. A bill has two parts: a platform tier that sets your capabilities and your payment commission, and per-location pricing charged at the same rate on every tier. Usage allowances pool across your locations instead of being divided between them. Read TWICE Commerce overview for the current tiers, location rates and add-ons. Accounts on a custom agreement carry their own included counts, and those counts can be raised. Treat your agreement as the authority wherever it differs from the published tier.

What changes your bill, and what does not

Read the table as operational changes you make in the admin. None of them renegotiates what you pay.
Ask your TWICE contact before you close a location to cut cost. The admin shows no per-location cost and no plan usage, so deactivating or archiving a location changes how you operate and nothing else. Put the question first, then act on the answer.

What happens when you reach an included count

Nothing in the admin stops you. Settings → Locations lets you add a location whether or not your agreement covers it, and Settings → Users & Roles lets you invite a user the same way. Going past an included count surfaces commercially, not as an error on screen. Ask your TWICE contact, or use the chat in the admin, to raise a count. Start that conversation early and keep it off your launch week, because raising a count changes your agreement.

Where to check your own usage

Count what the account holds today, because no view totals it for you:
  • Settings → Locations lists every location with an Active or Draft chip.
  • Settings → Archived assets lists the locations you have archived, and unarchives them.
  • Settings → Users & Roles lists everyone who can sign in.
  • Settings → Subscription is marked Coming soon. Your plan, usage and invoices are not in the admin yet.

Done when

  • The included counts from your agreement are written down where the people configuring the account can see them.
  • Every location on the account is one you intend to operate, and the rest are archived.
  • You can name the person at TWICE to ask before adding or closing a location.
  • No one on your team is closing a location on an assumption about what it costs.
