Connect payments and build your checkout

Connect card payments under Settings → Payments, through TWICE’s own Stripe platform. Add any offline methods you accept, such as pay on collection or invoice. Then build the checkout, the flow the customer fills in, and attach it to the channel that uses it. Decide what it asks for now. What you collect at checkout is what you have on the order afterwards. Set up your terms, documents and emails

Replace the defaults on all three. A real order sends a confirmation email, a receipt and an agreement, all under your name, and all wrong out of the box. Write your terms and cancellation policy under Settings → Terms & Policies, template the documents an order produces under Settings → Documents, and rewrite your transactional emails under Settings → Emails. Write the words now: there is no separate styling mode to leave for later. Prove a live payment before you launch

Run a live-mode payment on a real card and refund it at Test your processes. That is what shows your account is verified, that payouts arrive, and that the money reaches the right bank account.

Done when

  • Payments are connected and verification is complete, or visibly in progress.
  • A checkout exists, is Active, and is attached to the channel that will use it.
  • The checkout collects everything you need and nothing you have not decided to act on.
  • Your terms and cancellation policy are yours, your order documents render correctly, and every transactional email has been read and rewritten.
