Step 4 of the launch path. Your catalog exists; this step is everything between a customer wanting an item and money arriving in your account — plus the paperwork that has to be right the first time a real order goes through. Get this right rather than fast. A wrong tax setting or a missing clause in your terms is something you find out about from a customer.

Payments and checkout

The checkout is what the customer fills in, and what you ask for there is what you have afterwards. Decide it now rather than discovering at the counter that you never collected a phone number. If you started the payment application in step 1, this is where it pays off. If you did not, this is where the launch waits.
A guide for connecting payments and building your checkout is in progress. Until it lands: Payments, Checkouts and its steps, Collect customer data at checkout, Ask for information on a listing.
Done when: a checkout exists, is attached to the channel that will use it, and asks for everything you need and nothing you do not.

Terms, documents and emails

A real order triggers paperwork: a confirmation email, a receipt, a rental agreement. All three go out under your name with your details, and all three are wrong by default. Transactional email content belongs here, not in the storefront step — it gates the go-live. Only email styling is cosmetic.
A guide for setting up your terms, documents and emails is in progress. Until it lands: Terms & Policies, Documents, Emails.
Done when: your rental terms and cancellation policy are yours rather than placeholders, and a receipt renders correctly with your details.

Where each listing sells

Three separate gates decide whether a customer can buy something: the listing’s own status, whether it is available at that location, and whether that location offers a fulfilment method for that purchase type. Merchants routinely find one and not the others, then report a bug.
A guide for controlling where each listing sells is in progress. Until it lands: Where a listing sells and Set up the online store.
Done when: everything meant to be on sale is visible where you intend, and nothing else is.

Plan and domain

Your account needs to be on a paid plan that covers your locations, and your own domain added and verified. Making it primary happens at go-live, not now. See Subscription and Domains.
