# Your first weeks

> The numbers to read, the payouts to reconcile, and where to get help.

Step 11 of the [launch path](/docs/guides/launch/overview). You are live. The work now is watching closely enough to catch a configuration mistake in week one rather than at the end of the quarter.

Give it a few weeks of deliberate attention, then let it become routine.

## Read your first weeks' numbers

Run the reports that matter to you and check they look plausible against what you know happened. A wrong tax setting or a mis-mapped import shows up here first, as a number that is close but not right.

**Done when:** you have run your key reports and the numbers match your own expectations.

## Reconcile your first payouts

The first payout is the one to check line by line: what was charged, what was refunded, what the provider withheld, and what actually landed in your bank. Get the shape of it once and the rest of the year is routine.

**Done when:** you can explain the difference between what you charged and what arrived.

## Know what changed, and who changed it

When something looks wrong, the answer is usually in the history. The activity log traces settings changes; each stock item and customer carries its own.
